The opening day of the County Championship Division Two match between Derbyshire and Kent will see The Peakite trial a new live text feed feature on its website and app.

This is an exciting new development for all CounterPress Media sites as The Peakite enhances its coverage of Derbyshire County Cricket Club. The live text feed will provide build-up ahead of the start of the match before updating readers on the key moments of the day as it progresses.

The feature will be easily accessible and easy to follow for subscribers with, of course, no adverts getting in the way.

As tomorrow will be the first time this feature will be used for The Peakite, the live text feed for the opening day's play between Derbyshire and Kent will be free to read for everyone. Afterwards, the match blog (when in use) will only be accessible for subscribers.

Derbyshire are aiming for a return to winning ways this week after suffering a heavy defeat away at Gloucestershire in their most recent County Championship Division Two match.

Derbyshire's 13-man squad for the red ball match against Kent is as follows:

Madsen (c), Aitchison, Andersson, Basra, Bin Naeem, Came, Guest, Montgomery, Morley, Potts, Randell, Reece, Rogers.
