Derbyshire Falcons Women lost to Northamptonshire Steelbacks Women by seven wickets on Sunday in League Two of the Metro Bank Women's One-Day Cup at Belper. The result meant that Jon Dyson's side missed out on the chance to finish the 2026 season with a run of three successive wins in the competition.
The Steelbacks won the toss and elected to bowl first as the Falcons made four changes to the side that beat Sussex Sharks Women in their most recent match last month. Olivia Kibler, Prisha Bedi, Beth Slater and Gemma Rose were called in to replace Aamna Khan, Malisha Tennakoon, Maria Andrews and Francesca Clarke.
