Haydon roars with the ball as Derbyshire suffer big loss again

Despite losing the toss in favorable bowling conditions, Derbyshire reduced the home side to 147-5. However, Daniel Bell-Drummond scored a century and added 126 for the sixth wicket with wicket-keeper Chris Benjamin to halt the attack of the visitors.
Kent were eventually bowled out for 352 and had scored their runs just shy of four an over. Haydon had impressed with the ball, picking up his maiden five wicket haul. However, Zak Chappell, while picking up two wickets, conceded 114 runs from his 21 overs.
Derbyshire failed to establish themselves with the bat, after scoring 30 runs, both openers were out to Keith Dudgeon’s probing bowling. Luis Reece top-scored with 84 as Derbyshire were bowled out for 304.
