The opening batter has earned his first England Men's call-up for the Vitality IT20 Series following an impressive T20 Blast campaign and also in The Hundred. Donald made 489 runs in 12 innings at an average of 40.75 with four 50’s in the Blast for the Falcons this season and a top score of 91.
Donald scored a record-equalling fastest ever Vitality Blast half-century in 2025 off just 13 balls.
Donald’s explosive batting clearly has caught the eye of the England Men’s National selector Marcus North who commented: “Aneurin Donald and Henry Crocombe are two promising players who have earned their places on the back of impressive performances in domestic cricket."
