Dal Retires From Professional Cricket While Donald Confirmed To Make England Debut

Derbyshire have announced that all-rounder Anuj Dal has retired as a professional cricket player with immediate effect. The 30 year-old will now focus on a career in financial services with Ryley Wealth Management.
Dal made his first-team senior debut for Derbyshire in 2018 in the T20 Blast while his last appearance for the club came in the recent County Championship Division Two match against Middlesex last month.
In an eight-year spell with Derbyshire, Dal played 142 matches across all formats of the game and scored 3,748 runs with the bat while taking 128 wickets with the ball.
His best year for Derbyshire arguably came in 2022 when he won the club's County Championship Player of the Year award.
