Brown Signs Contract Extension With Derbyshire

Derbyshire have announced that 28 year-old seamer Pat Brown has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club.
Brown has not featured at all for Derbyshire in the 2026 season due to a shoulder injury which required surgery. Despite his long-term absence, the club's Head of Cricket Mickey Arthur has shown loyalty and faith in Brown by offering him a new deal.
The 2025 campaign didn't see Brown play at his best for the club, but this was largely down to the shoulder issues he was having to contend with. The pace bowler made four T20 international appearances for England in 2019 and was a part of the Worcestershire Rapids team that lifted the Vitality Blast trophy in 2018.
