Abbas Features As Pakistan Suffers Defeat

Pakistan lost to Bangladesh by 78 runs earlier today in the second and final test of the series at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The defeat for the Shaheens means that the Tigers have won the series 2-0.
The visitors won the toss and elected to field first. Bangladesh reached a total of 278 in their first innings, thanks in main to an excellent century from wicketkeeper Litton Kumer Das. In response, Pakistan were all out for 232 which gave their opponents a narrow lead of 46 at the halfway point.
A commanding performance at the crease from Mushfiqur Rahim guided the hosts to a very strong position in their second innings. Rahim scored 137 as Bangladesh were all out for 390, setting their opponents a very tough target of 437 to win the match and draw the series.
