Following on from his five wicket haul at the home of cricket yesterday, Aitchison became the first player to take five wickets and score a hundred for Derbyshire in the same match at Lord’s.

Aitchison had come in as nightwatchman the previous evening, made 112 and shared a sixth-wicket stand of 208 with skipper, Wayne Madsen, which was the joint third-highest for any wicket by Derbyshire against Middlesex.
