Durham Demolish Derbyshire To Expose Brutal Gap In Quality

Unfortunately, there's just nothing positive that can be found here aside from Ben Aitchison's performance with the ball. What makes the massive defeat even worse is that, not only was a fourth day not even required, the majority of the first day saw no action as well due to the wet weather. Mickey Arthur's side suffered another batting collapse as a score of 106-3 suddenly became 156 all out. Durham's Matthew Potts was in ruthless mood as his figures of 5-46 secured his side a 127 run lead at the midway stage.
