Derbyshire Falcons beat Hampshire by eight runs at the Utilita Bowl in their last Group B match of this year's Metro Bank One-Day Cup. The game will be remembered for Martin Andersson's tremendous century and a staggering innings from Andrew Neal which almost claimed an astonishing win for the hosts.
Hampshire won the toss and elected to bat first as Derbyshire Falcons made two changes from the side that lost at home to Middlesex last weekend. Mitch Wagstaff and Joe Hawkins came in for Yousaf Bin Naeem and Shoaib Bashir respectively to make their first appearances in this season's Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
