Derbyshire Falcons are still searching for their first victory of this year's Metro Bank One-Day Cup campaign following a three wicket defeat to Worcestershire Rapids at Visit Worcestershire New Road. With two losses from their opening couple of matches in Group B, Mickey Arthur's side already have a huge amount of work ahead of them if they are to qualify for the knockout stage.
The hosts won the toss and elected to field first, as Derbyshire made one change from their recent home defeat to Durham with Rory Haydon replacing Shoaib Bashir. For the second consecutive match, Falcons skipper Harry Came was dismissed early for a score of nine before Martin Andersson and Brooke Guest secured a solid second-wicket partnership to get things back on track.
