Derbyshire Falcons secured an impressive 54 run victory over Yorkshire away from home at Abbeydale Park earlier today in the North Group of the Second XI T20 Cup.

The hosts won the toss and elected to bowl first on a sun-drenched day in Sheffield. What followed was a sublime knock from opening batter Harry Came who anchored the Falcons to an enormous overall score for their opponents to try and chase down. Came was clearly a man on a mission as he hit an incredible 114 from 56 balls before being dismissed. His time at the crease included 14 fours and three sixes. Came certainly wasn’t the only batter though to impress in the middle. Luis Reece secured 40 from 24 deliveries, Yousaf Bin Naeem smashed 31 from 14 balls while Joe Hawkins kept Derbyshire’s momentum going right till the end with an unbeaten 21 from 11 deliveries.
