Andersson completed his second consecutive half-century and collected Derbyshire’s best bowling figures in an innings ever in a T20 as he collected six wickets in a huge win for the Falcons.
Hard hitting from skipper Nye Donald and Andersson at the top of the order coupled with latter order scoring from Caleb Jewell and again from Matthew Montgomery. Derbyshire followed up by miserly with the ball against a Foxes side who struggled after winning the toss and inserting the Falcons.
Donald and Andersson put on 78 for the first wicket in a little over six overs Andersson collected his second consecutive half-century as he and Jewell enjoyed some disappointing bowling from the Leicestershire seamers. The former Middlesex man was the next batter to go when Derbyshire had reached 121 in just over 10 overs.
