England take on Sri Lanka in a three-match T20 series this week following their 3-0 test match series victory over Pakistan. One of the big questions heading into this series is whether Derbyshire Falcons' Vitality Blast captain Nye Donald will make his debut for England.
The 29 year-old was recently named in England's 16-man squad for the upcoming T20 series after an impressive year for the Falcons with the bat. Donald featured in 12 Vitality Blast matches this season and scored 489 runs at an average of 40.75. He achieved four half centuries with his highest individual score of 91 from 38 balls coming at home against Leicestershire Foxes in the team's final group match. Over the course of the 2026 Vitality Blast campaign, Donald also hit a staggering 37 sixes and achieved an average strike rate of 230.66. Nobody in this year's competition hit more sixes than Donald.
