Guest Delighted With Return To Winning Ways

Brooke Guest had plenty to smile about yesterday evening. The wicketkeeper produced a superb unbeaten knock of 108 from 82 balls with the bat as well as taking two catches to help secure a much-needed victory for Derbyshire Falcons in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
Shortly after the conclusion of the match, Guest spoke to The Peakite and firstly revealed just how important this win was for the whole squad:
"It means a lot. Obviously, we've had a rough start in this competition and the T20 competition didn't go how we wanted it to. But to get back on winning ways and be in the mix again for the quarter-finals…there's a lot of hard work – four big games to come. If we can win all them, then we might be in the mix for the quarter-finals. We're trying to take it one game at a time and that's all you can do when you get put behind."
